Column, Chromatography, 45/50 Outer Rodaviss Joint, 2 1/2in ID X 24in E.L., 4mm Stopcock. Similar to CG-1192 but with a sealed in COARSE porosity fritted disc to support column packing. Column is constructed using MEDIUM WALL TUBING. Can be used as a gravity eluted column or a flash column (as described by W.C. Still, M. Kahn and A. Mitra of Columbia University in JOURNAL OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY 43, 2923 [1978], and covered in U.S. Patent Number 4,293,422 dated October 6, 1981) when used with optional CG-1195 flow controller and CG-1194 reservoir. Column is supplied complete with a CG-182 open top cap and o-ring.

Bio Rad Laboratories Econo-Column Chromatography Columns | 2/PK
Use these empty glass chromatography columns with low-pressure (<1 bar) chromatography systems or gravity flow separations. Econo-Column columns are ideal for simple packing and procedure running. They are 2.5x5cm with a 25ml volume. The porous polymerbed support at the bottom of the column retains fine particles. They have translucent polypropylene end fittings which allow viewing of the entire column bed. The columns are autoclavable and NaOH compatible. Includes one stopcock per column ordered.
